Interactive Solutions for Web, Mobile, Kiosk, and Multi-Touch Screen

The Chinese Community Health Resource Center (CCHRC) was established in 1989 as a private, 501 (c) (3) non-profit community center by the Chinese Community Health Care Association, Chinese Community Health Plan, and Chinese Hospital. The Center's mission is to build a healthy community through culturally and linguistically competent preventive health, disease management, and research programs. Since its inception, the Chinese community of the San Francisco Bay Area has come to recognize CCHRC as a leader and principal source of culturally competent health education programs. Over the years, CCHRC has launched numerous culturally and linguistically appropriate health education programs.

22MILES was able to bring health awareness to many by incorporating a content management system CCHRC to better deliver the information about many health risks and safety measures a person needs to attend to. The CMS allowed CCHRC to create, edit, manage, and publish content in an easy to use interface as well as maintain their website image. 22MILES also streamlined and optimized the CCHRC main website layout to allow visitors to have an easier time to navigate the site in THREE languages.  Videos were integrated, graphics were updated, and text flow was improved.  We also implemented several flash-based touch screen games in a kiosk, which a visitor to the Chinese Hospital in San Francisco can figure out how to eat healthier and live better by moving around familiar ingredients and dishes to calculate and obtain nutritional analysis by entering their age and activity level. CCHRC also required management of PDF files— 22MILES helped them manage over 200 PDF files in various languages and made their work easier. Lastly, 22MILES implemented a PayPal donation system. As CCHRC is a non-profit organization, it allowed others to make a generous donation for them to better provide to the Chinese community.
