The Orange County Convention Center’s Digital Ecosystem

The Orange County Convention Center facility has over 100 digital menu boards and 60+ column-mounted screens. They required a unified solution that would streamline managing their facility’s digital ecosystem. With 22Miles, interactive 3D wayfinding augments all their upright and landscape kiosks. It includes features such as ADA-compliant routing that provides guests with turn-by-turn directions to any destination or event in the facility.

The system integrates with event software Ungerboeck to automatically display real-time event data feeds to all screens. And, from the easy-to-use backend, the convention center’s IT and system admin staff can easily customize content and update any or all of the screens from a central location. Additionally, the system provides backend data analytics to inform IT department staff of real-time data on screen touches, wayfinding destinations and usage, and other helpful user information.
